STORY OF GIAAN

Hi, we’re Tyson and Justine, the founders of Giaan Active.

Track & Field has been a massive part of our lives, shaping who we are and teaching us strength, resilience, and self-belief. But Giaan Active was never just about performance. It began with a much deeper purpose: to inspire Giaan, Justine’s younger sister. And that’s where the name Gia comes from.

We launched Giaan Active in March 2025, driven by the goal of creating something that would make her proud and love her loud. Something that embodied strength, courage, and confidence.

In July 2025, we planned our first restock together with Giaan. As part of the launch, we decided that a portion of the proceeds would be donated to a mental health charity of her choice. Tragically, just one day before the collection launched, we lost our beautiful Giaan to suicide.

Since that moment, Giaan Active has taken on an even greater meaning. It’s no longer just a brand, it’s a tribute to Giaan and a reflection of her strength and spirit. Everything we do now is in her honour. Her strength, creativity and love are now woven into everything we do.

Through this community, we hope we can help others feel supported, valued and less alone. We want to remind people they are worthy and so loved. More than anything, we want Giaan Active to be a place where everyone belongs.

Giaan Active will always stand for resilience, strength, and love. The same qualities that our beautiful Giaan showed every single day.
